I'm not one for buying things when i can make them myself so..do you think it would sound to much like a weedwacker if I took off my cat and ran a 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way to the muffler I have a greddy muffler? I want a deep tone not a high pitches ricer. and I want it alittle louder than our stock pipes you can hardly even notice its not stock which is cool but i dont drive the car everyday so im not too worried about cops bustin my chops..any comments suggestions ?....

Two things A straight pipe(no cat) is waayyyy louder than a cat pipe. So when you take off the cat you get a raspy sound. You would need a o2 sim. Or you could get a high flow cat(even theses will add a raspy sound) stay cool and run a cheap azz cat back for now and or just make a new muffler pipe and put your greddy on.
