CRV is different from what we are accustomed to, that doesn't mean this car won't deliver. every car has their own "they should've done this.." thing but unless you are paying for a lamborghini or ferrari you should look at a car in what you get your moneys worth level.

The RAV4 with the V6 is quick, 268hp is not too shabby. Its "feminine" looking in my opinion, more so than the CRV.
Only thing that differentiates the CRV from the RAV4 is that the RAV4 has a V6 option, CRV is 166hp 4 Cyl all the way through.
My dad wants a CRV. Size is perfect for him, and the 4 cyl is more than enough for him (he likes the gas mileage also). We are going to test one out next week. We may look at the Pilot also, but the CRV is on top of his list.

BTW, saw one in person, looks nice, better than the previous gen and that interior, nice.

gas mileage is a lame excuse for picking CRV over the RAV4 based solely for that reason. the RAV V6 has about the same mpg as the 4 cylinder crv. the 4 cylinder crv goes head to head to the 4 cylinder rav. IMO, the fit and finish of the CRV looks better than the RAV but i don't think RAV looks more feminine than the CRV, well at least the V6, Sport and Limited looks good. i hate how lower model rav looks, same as lower model crv.

The 07 Rav V6 limited or even sport is a nice SUV period!!!!!

It all comes down to personal pref, toyota owners swear by toyota and honda owners swear by honda

Its all pers pref because all in all they are both fantastic vehicles.
Down to looks the Rav4 beats the CRV

ur right, exterior wise it's all personal preference. i like the CRV styling now and the RAV4 looks good on higher models (RAV4 sport or limited). i hope they improve the backend of the rav though, cuz it doesn't match the front. now interior wise, crv kills the rav4. the interior fit and finish of the crv is more upscale (i.e. leather, navigation, interior layout) than the rav4. rav looks cheap, their leather looks cheap. honda leather > toyota leather. im wondering if rav would get rid of the spare tire on the back and get navi for MMC?
