Auto To Manual : Tachometer Not Working
I just got a swap from auto to manual and when I got it back, the tachometer was not working. I did not see anyone else having this problem with a swap, is this normal if I did not change the gauges to a manual gauge cluster, or did they miss something?
Any help on this would be awesome.

must be a wire that the cut by accident or something. it should still work. although the RPM markings differ from auto to manual it doesnt make a difference. its programmed in the cluster what to read. or at least thats what i read...

In response to the cost:
It ending up costing way too much. Our car requires many more pieces to be replaced than a transmission swap on an older civic (the subframe, axles, starter, ecu AND key or reprogram). If you have lower miles, I would recommend a sell and buy, unless you have very high miles like I did (130k). If you do end up doing it, try to get all the pieces salvage at one place so maybe you can get a good discount, just the extra pieces I listed cost me an extra $1300 or so.

That is what I am thinking. I did not see anyone else who had this issue, but that's why I'm checking to see if maybe some knows 100%.

New information when I was re-reading the manual swap thread:
Those people did not replace the ECU with the manual ECU, so they were getting check engine lights. I replaced the ECU, so I would not (which I don't). This could very well be caused by an ECU change, anyone know what wire harness you need to buy that is different for the manual gauge cluster?
Anyone have some insight into whether I am correct or not?
