So I'm out joy riding in the S2K the other night when I realize I'm low on gas. I see a Shell station coming up so I come to a stop, and I notice a nice early 90's testarossa pulling up next to me.

Let me just say that I think that the Testarossa is the finest damn car to ever come from Italy. That car has passion.

Anyways, I see the guy open his door, and he dings it on the gas pump!! My jaw drops to the floor. Anyhow I start pumping my gas and leave it on as I walk over to the guy and tell him how I've been a fan of his car since I was in grade school. Anyhow, the guy goes on to tell me how he's had it since new in 1990 and how he only has 4000 miles on it. He was actually pretty humble about it.

Then he tells me that he likes his car but it's "not as sexy as yours." I look at my little 30 grand car that looks more and more like a heap by the minute as I stand next to this piece of automotive history called the Testarossa. I look back at him, and I say "please, don't patronize me." He says he's serious and wishes he had a convertible.

I'm like ok thanks I guess...dumbfounded...I pull out of the gas station onto the road, and I yell to the guy...get yourself an enzo to match that thing....he laughs...and says "woah...that thing's a Honda?"

I was like yeah...take care...and I drove off....wondering why he didn't know what an S2K was.

Well anyways...it was interesting...that car was damn beautiful...the guy was a nice guy, but had me wondering if he really deserved the car...since he was seemed a little strange...not knowing what an S2K was and opening his door on the gas pump...

I just wanted to share that with you guys...I was so excited to see a Testarossa. I see 360 Modenas and F430's all the time...Murcielagos are pretty common too...but rarely do I see a Testarossa....and as old as they are...even though the new ones will probably spank em....I just can't get over how sexy they are. Maybe it's because I was a kid when they came out....who knows.
