In the reviews forum you mentioned that the TYC projectors have a weird beam pattern, were you referring to the high beams only or the overall beam pattern? And also is it possible for you to post pics of your beam pattern since we've tried numberous times to get Marux to do that for us? Thanks in advance.

Hey Showoff, did you get my email? I just had a question regarding the shielding you made for your HID.

i don't have the tyc's, but the beam pattern should be the same as the pojector bulb is the same. Obviously the projector doesn't have the same coverage as the stock, the stock depending on the refraction of light off of the chrome to create the beam. the projector is more of a "projection of the light in a moer precise area. the result is a stronger beam, but in a smaller area. i.e., stock lights up the road immediately in front of you better, but the projectors produce a better beam farther out, which means better reflection off road signs etc. To be honest, i thin i can se better with the projector with its stock lights, then i could with my factory with piaa platinums..

the beam pattern is all weird, i think it coul've been that my car got hit and the frame was little bent or some sort, the lights are now focused on the driverside of the car, and it's both highbeam and low beam, the high beam patter is great, i like it better than the stock, it shoots really far.. like.. i was on the high way, and it light up at least 1/2 - 3/4 miles ahead, the low beam.. unlike the stock headlights, the light isn't spread evenly all around, instead, the outside of the beam is brighter than the inside of the beam. i'll try and get some pictures when i have time

Thanks Voiceofid! Are you still planning on going for HID's after seeing the halogen beam pattern?
