I thought the F&F was a pretty cool movie at the time. I just remember watching thee F&F and the MTV True Life: Streeet Racing, and saying to my self "damn I want a car like that". I've always loved cars way before the F&F came out. I just thought of the F&F as inspiration to go build a car, so I did. My dad bought me and my brother a wrecked 01 civic, and my brother and I rebuilt the car.

Sadly there is always going to be those stupid kids that race and kill themselves, and there is always going to be those civics with the fart can mufflers.

I think the Future of improts is going to lean towards cars that are much cleaner. Like a mix between JDM cars and "show cars" if that makes sense LOL. The import scene has split into two different worlds, the imports and the "show cars". I think it will all blend togethor eventually, but as for now pick your side
