Raced an LX today :D
A friend of mine has a 2k1 LX. Its pretty sweet. It is painted some kind of orange with a platinum pearl over it, 18's, and a few other things.
Anyways...we were bored so we decided to line them up. I didnt think all my mods that I put into my car were worth it until NOW!!! I won every time. Each time I won by like a car length and a half. We were pretty tight in first but as soon as I hit the top of second I was gone!
He has an intake and exhaust. And I have intake, exhaust, 4-1 header, and underdrive pulleys. They didnt ever seem to really make a difference but now that I had something somewhat similar to compare it to I must say that I made a good investment!
Just thought Id share a victory with you guys!! Sorry everyone with an LX!!! I still love you all!!!!!!!!!!! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]
P.S. Brent, I still love you! Well have to race again after we get our turbos!!! You will probably beat me cause of the whole non v-tec thing!

Rep Power: 0 I'll be more than happy to oblige you! Catch me any saturday night and we'll go at it!!! Did I mention my car was stock, and I also had a 250lb friend riding with me? Hehe!! Not to mention we were rolling at about 5-10mph and I was about half-way up beside him when he took off. I punched it late and pulled by second gear. Either way, it's no biggy to me...I've raced about 6-7 2K1 EX's and haven't lost yet. 
BTW, I'm only on here late in the evening because of my job or I would have responded sooner.

Rep Power: 0 Technically speaking...there is no way you have beat an EX in ur LX. Maybe if you cought them slipping or something. Or if you have NOS and didnt tell anyone. And I think everone on here can agree with me on that. Seriously...lets race motor to motor for lets say....ummmm....you tell me a price! Or do you want me to race you for that pink slip of yours???
Are you going to Daytona for spring break? Ill spank your *** in front of everyone! Dont be mad cause a girl can beat you!!! You come over to davids house and we will go line them up as soon as my car is out of the shop on thursday. And you better have a cab ready to come pick you up after I take home that thing you claim as a civic! Poor car...Ill give it a little makeover and have it feeling better in no time.

P.S. And just a tip: you may want to take those big as$ stickers off of your car that may possibly be distracting your view. Maybe then you can see that you are losing and not winning all of those races!!

Rep Power: 0 You don't have to start flaming.....Ask anyone in my car club how many EX's I've raced and beat.......I've got about 20 witnesses. Hell, I've even beat a few at Jax Raceways, and have the time slips to prove it. Got all your damn knickers in a twist. Just FYI, I'm not talking just one race, I have 3 or 4 friends with EX's that I've raced time and time again and never lost. As a matter of a fact, I let my friend with his EX drive my car while I drove his, and my car still won. That's bone stock with nothing but my STICKERS!! We even spent one night swapping about 8 different drivers total and it still came out the same. You can speculate all you want, but you weren't there (never have been) so there's no way you could possible know. I'll tell you this though, my car is SLOWER now than it was stock because I have 17's on it and an intake...Little loss in low end torque and bigger wheels to turn over. I'm man enough to tell it like it is.
BTW, my first post was meant as a friendly joke, but if you can't take a little ribbing then I feel sorry for you. Even if you did win a race against me, I wouldn't give two *****. It's not a pissing contest for me, it's entertainment. Win or lose I'll race anyone. I don't have any kind of complex about myself where I have to think I'm better than anyone else, I just don't care.
