Again looks are varied from person to person. I've changed my opinion on the Si and have come to the conclusion that it looks alright. Since the Type R ain't coming here any time soon, people will just have to settle for the Si.

The type r looks awesome!

I just think Honda needs to change a little and up the hp in their cars. It seems to me like we are always a little slower than some of the other competitors. Why can't they make honda the fastest and show the loyal honda owners some appreciation?

Has the Civic Type R ever been anything other than a hatchback? No.

I hate how when something new is introduced ppl quickly try to down it. The Si was always a hatch until it was turned to a coupe for 99-00 and when that happened ppl b!tched. Now everyone loves it, and when the hatch is brought back for 2k2, ppl b!tch again. Probably why they never brought the R over here to begin with.

Quit whining, if you want the coupe swap the engine

asian pride if u want a type R go get the RSX type S or R. lolz
thats how honda made their coupe just for u guyz
i still dont mind having a hatch TYPE R the hatch will always be faster than the coupe at the track cuz its always so much lighter and weight is distributed at the rear so there is prolly little understeering.
why is everyone hating on it?
