Jet Ecu Group Buy

I am in talks with JET Performance right now for an ECU GB. If anyone is interested? I had my flashed for little performance on '87 pump gas... but i want more... So I am going to get it reflashed again.. Average Gains on 89 pump gas are 10 WHP so about 15-20 at the fly? Retail is $399 and if your not looking to swap or turbo and staying all motor then this is a good thing to do. For more info.. Check out http://www.jetchip.com/

btw its in here because i couldnt add it to the GB listing

i would buy one if they actually made power. but they dont. (ie prove me otherwise with an ACTUAL dyno chart)

jet said no gb unless its 75 or more so cancelling that. Actually there is performance.. they reflash the whole ECU.. kinda like what hondata does. the most performance gains that it will give you is if you already have done I/H/E etc... Im obviously going to see gains over someone who just has and intake and a muffler or I/H/E because i have the crower stage I cam... I havent run a dyno yet right now we're getting hit by the outer winds of ernesto. JET said that they can provide a dyno or pay for one if you purchase it. Avg gain is 10 whp, i def feel an increase and also faster revs up to 7500

all they do is play with the timing and a few other stupid things that should only be done on a dyno. i wouldnt risk it, and every car is different. you cant just reflash an ecu based on what mods you have. two cars with the exact same mods will run differently.

for anyone in this thread

DONT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME OR MONEY

jet is a generic reflash like mentioned above. you may see about 3whp gain form this at most. guys that have custom tunes like from a vafcII which offers more adjustability dont get more than that. and that is a custom tune for your car and area. jet is the biggest scam out. i know how they get their power. i used to sell the parts and was one of the largest jet distributors for a while. then we found wayyy better products and jet never got sold again.

seriously dont waste your time of money!!!!!!!!!!

I had a Jet Chip for my truck, it ****ed everything up..lol

Then again, I could feel the power as it changed the shift timings (AUTO), Superchip was the better manufacture to purchase from at the time.

we discussed this. remember? its one of those mad jdm mods you must own.

"SUN Automobile now offers specialized earthing straps to properly ground your exhaust system to the chasis. Based on research and development of the Hyper Ground System, the new exhaust earth is designed to help eliminate static in your exhaust for maximum exhaust flow efficiency."

your guess is as good as mine on how reducing "static" makes the air flow faster. haha

and just in case you guys really believe this, our cars come stock with a grounded exhaust. its bolted to the engine, which is grounded.

Thats funny cuz if his rev limiter is gone and no internals are done he is not very smart.
Gearbox U said earlier U saw problems for his car in the future. Well there is one of them.

And about removing the rev limiter thats about the dumbset idea I have heard all day.
Why So U can blow your engine the day you get your ECU back just to not have one.

yea that, and his supposed rev limit removal, and the jet programming (which they even say if it blows up the motor they are not responsible).
