I just prefer the beefiness that they used to have with the solid front. Better for offroading and alot easier to work on.

The interior in that picture is the work truck interior. It is only available in LS and some LT models (If I'm not mistaken), while the other LTs and LTZs come with the interior out of the Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche.

Im sure ill be seeing a lot of those around here in Michigan in the next couple months, but then again if u were able to get the GM discount why not? Thats really the only way I would end up with a domestic car is if I was eligible for the GM discount.

My wife just bought an 06 cobalt the non SS kind for 13 out the door with the GM discount. I need to work for Honda or something lol

I just ordered a GMC Denali on Tuesday. It has the 6.2 Liter with the 6 Speed Auto in it with TapShift. Gonna be trading in the SS I just bought.

It's detunded. 385 HP.. Lingenfelter will take care of that for me. I had them do the tune on my Trailblazer SS and picked up a little over 50hp to all the wheels with just tune alone. Got 16 HP to the wheels with their intake. The LS2 is big time held back from factory. I'm running 13.2's in a SUV. She sucks the ol' gas though.lol So more then likely I should be able to get a more HP then the Escalade. The one thing that I wish was that my SS got that 6 speed.

You're dreaming..I was going to buy the 06 F150 Harley Davidson and it wasn't too bad interior wise but NO POWER. I also checked out a Lariat and a Lincoln LT and the interiors on them are garbage.

That will be here in the Spring. It'll have the same drivetrain as the Denali. 6.2 6Speed Auto. I'm curious on what it will look like. I've been driving the new 07 Yukon Denali for the last week and the interior in it is beautiful. GM did very well on this SUV. They pretty much have to, these are their bread & butter vehicles. If these trucks don't take off I think GM is in A LOT of trouble. Plus this year the new Tundra is coming and it's an actual full size, so that may hinder some sales of the GM trucks.Maybe..The "domestic" truck guys are pretty loyal to their brands and "import" isn't in their vocabulary.lol

The 06 F-150 HD just has 300HP, whereas previous models had 340HP because of supercharger on the 5.4, so probably did seem weak. The Lincoln LT kinda looks gay in my opinion...
