Well, depending on your economic condition, the kaminari hood wwith the scoop is nice, but otherwise any cf hood is badazz.

i like the intruder-style vented hood (single vent), it is aggressive but not overly so.

The Fiber Images Monster Carbon Fiber hood is sweet.... look on ebay they have them for like $400 instead of $650 on their site.... but that kaminari with that tear drop scoop is bad *** too though

Ive been watching this forum a bit, had no intention of signing up, but I couldnt resist. Where are you located? I have a project in the works right now, making my own carbon fiber hood. I can make them in all styles, maybe even different colors. I am toying with a ram air intake design, which is why I am doing this, but I should be able to make an OEM hood pretty easily. again, I am mid-project, I wanted to hold off on mentioning this, but here, i got the mold all finished. (its messy for a reason [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]) theoretically, I can make a hood for less than online prices, But I am not sure what the total cost will be, as carbon fiber will cost approximately $70-100 alone, and it drinks resin, too.

But I will be sure to tell everyone the outcome of the project, whenever I complete it.

you know, i typed out teh entire process. from start to finish. but i then realized that this is a pretty simple project, i dont want you all macking on my idea before i finish my project [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]

besides,once you got a mold, you can make multiple hoods. once i finish mine, i can crank out more to make a profit off my investment, or even sell it to make some of my money back [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]

dont worry, i saved the process in another file, stay tuned [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG] tho

with luck, ill have the first few bits done during spring break [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]

the pics that are there are basically a bunch of layers of fiberglass, with metal bars in between for structural suppot. I GUARANTEE you teh hood itslef wont be so hasily thrown together [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]
