2009 skyline gtr
i'm pretty sure this isn't a repost, but here's the latest info on the '09 skyline gtr that's coming to the states. all for just a cool 75grand~!!!

Old news. I do prefer the Proto's body over the G35's anytime.
Why would it not receive AWD? It's been having it ATTESA since 1989. And I do think that a revised version of ATTESA-ES is what's coming.

Rep Power: 360 modoman, thats just an infiniti G35 body put on the new skyline (well in that picture an late prototype). Those pics are super old, and look nothing like what the new skyline will look like.

Rep Power: 379 75grand is just to much. If it were around 50grand I would still say ok, but still not bother with one. How kuhc to they go for in Japan, like yen converted to USD? And no not how much are they to buy and ship over either, But if your were in japan buying one.

Rep Power: 360 I honestly don't think that $75,000 is too much. This car is shooting for "Supercar" status that the R34 earned. I am not sure if it will be considered a supercar, but look at the cars it's competing with. It's a bargain.

Rep Power: 340 Not to be a pessimist but I dunno why everyone is so hyped up about this car coming to the US... it will just be watered down like everything else we get.. not to mention.. having a Skyline isn't as prestige if anyone can go out and get one the cool thing about having a R32, 33 or 34 is that not everyone can just walk up to a dealer and get one... they are acually rare.

There's an article on it in the August edition of SCC, and it looks WAY different than what is in those spy shots. We're talking loose base G35, it looks a thousand times better. Round tails that are very old skyline-esqe, and the front looks nothing like that photo above. Maybe i'll scan it a bit later.

Rep Power: 365 yes, we all know what the proto looks like. seriously, the car above is the mule car that has all the components in a g35 body, because, obviously, without a doubt, it is the same platform. mmmmmmmk. also, i think the prestige of the r34, 33, 32 etc is the fact that it is a badass car, not because it is rare. obviously, rarity has a big part to do with why every ricer thinks a skyline is the best car in the world, but an r34 is just a badass car in general. that said, i would rather have a gt2 over any skyline ever made, because, simply, it is a better, faster car. everyone is hyped up about the new skyline coming here because it will be a badass car that you don't have to pay twice the amount it is worth to bring over here yourself to own.
