my brother is buying a Honda
my brother asked me last night if I would go to the dealership with him next weekend to look at cars. his 93 Cavalier is starting to die so he wants to get something soon. He is looking at a 2k1 Civic because he can probably get a deal on it because of the 2k2 models being out and all. I hope he does, then we can work on them together. this is one field where I know more than him. the only other place I can say that is video games. I can woop him any day. just thought I would let you all know.

From what I have been reading here, tell your bro to spend a little more and buy the more refined 2002 model (most of the first-year-new-design quirks are supposed to be gone for '02).
You don't want him to blame you later for those annoying rattles, et al.
I'm buying a '02 and looks like I'll get one at invoice with no hidden charges. At 1% over now via email w/o even going into the dealership.

Be real careful when you go in. They give you good quotes because they can't 'sell ya' until they get you into the dealership. Good luck!
Other delear now offering at invoice w/ free car mats and trunk liner.
I'm asking them to confirm exact price out the door before I go in (all taxes and I won't pay ad fee).
Thanks for the warning though...

Just make sure he pops up here sometimes. We need new fresh souls for our plot to take over the world
