Totaled RSX
So i found this totaled rsx online. and its running for $3k. [Manual w/ 52kmiles] I was thinking of buying it and using w/e i can from it. IE the engine and rsx seats, etc. But before I buy it, i wanted your guy's feedback and of course i have to go see it in person. but yeah, Heres the Description.
""Roll over damage, Clean title, NOT DRIVABLE, air bags did not deploy, engine was NOT damaged, engine still runs, interior still in good condition, leather seats, rear driverside axles is broken, the car maybe fixable to someone with body work knowledge""

I'd take the steering wheel and some of the suspension components too, like the rear sway bar. Take the 'A' emblems off and put em on the front and rear of the civic, it wouldn't be rice since it's half honda half acura
well i hate to rain on the parade but. . . The interior is probably ruined due to rain since the windows are down/busted. Wheels and suspension might be ok but due to rollover might not be worth risking it on your car. Engine might also be good but subframe and other goodies could be f'd.
4k$ is too much for that kind of a headache.

Take a look.
If it runs well, and they managed to keep the interior in good condition, go for it!
Figure what it would cost you to buy all the parts (engine, tranny, interior, suspension ect...) and if your saving A LOT (which you probably wont be...) do it!

as soon as i saw rollover, that made me say no. an engine doesnt just rollover and continue working normally. i bet everything else in there is crap as well.
yeah i just emailed the guy he said everything is in good condition. ie, the engine and interior. and he'll take a pic of them on the weekend and maybe a vid on the engine running. but it cant really "drive" cuz the rear axle is broken.
Smuggling bananas and mexicans all for one low price...

The engine could very well survive a rollover Gear. And if that ends up being a type s (which I highley doubt it is, since totalled type-s's around me go for like 5k min), if he got the engine alone it would be worth it.
this is what he said "the engine starts right up, it was not damaged at all. but since the axle is broken you cant really drive the car. i was able to only to drive the car into the storage. you can see the car if you want to."
