I have a 7" LCD, Pioneer AVX-7000CD. I don't have the DVD yet, I'm still stuck in the old technology of the VCR. I like being able to record shows at home and watching them later.

I am very curious as to why people put screens in the front of their cars. Are you watching a movie while you are driving? Do you park and watch a movie. I mean, I can see having them in the back for kids or something, but in the front...

Why get one? Well for me, my upcoming setup will cost under $200 using the PS2 and power inverter I already have. 5" screen that I hope will fit perfectly in the open space under the head unit. Not only is it fun to play games and watch TV in your car, it looks pretty damn cool too! example... I have to go to work right after school everyday and have about 1/2 hour in between to waste. So starting in a week or so I can play GTA3 or whatever while the minutes fly by. Plus I like to showoff

why does anyone do anything to their car? because they like to wire/build the stuff and they want to be different! I take pride that I earned the money for my stuff and I did all the wiring as well.

Right on bro...For me, it keeps the natives in my car happy. Plus the babe magnet factor is WAY UP! Funny part is I don't really like to mention what I've done to my car to people *I dunno...not into braggin*, but my friends always bring it up to show their friends. lol.. one of my friends called me up a couple days ago to have me show off my car. Eveyone over at his house thought that the best thing i've done for my car is the screen. Like i said, it only cost me $140 for the screen alone off ebay. I'll scan the pics of it tonight

the only reason i'd do it is so that when i go to a car show I can actually have something to do when i've got like 8 hrs to waste.

The screens also have a very practicle purpose as well if you add a navigation unit.
