Here it is folks, my 15.8 run on a stock Civic.
It's really bad quality, but it gets the point across. Opinions, and remarks are appreciated[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].

what mods do you have man? what tires did you do that on? what RPM did you launch at?

um, that's not a stock civic. you can tell the way it launches off the line. there is way too much low end torque there. i mean jeez, you even take the low end torque muscle car for the first couple hundred feet or so (even though his reaction was just a bit behind yours). sorry, but we all know our power is in VTEC and mostly in the high end of our rpm. and you had basically no wheel spin either. so where did all that low end power come from??? not a stock civic, i can tell you that.

how exactly did you run a 15.8 with a 2.5sec 60ft?

the trap speed.. 91.8mph? yeah thats pretty high.. with calculation.. thats about a high 14 sec car.. not a high 15...
I dont think high 15 in our car is impossible, but the ET and the trap speed doesn't seem to agreed.
also your 60ft seems a bit high for such a good ET time...

Rep Power: 399 Well as I stated Grey, he showed us a video of a car that supposedly ran a 15.8 @91mph. Cars that run 91mph trap speeds are high 14 second cars. (ie. my friends integra 14.92@93mph). The video was of a civic, and now he wants to show us his engine bay. How do we know the engine bay he shows us is the same as that of the car we saw race?? Even then, I think their equipment was faulty, because a 15.8 second car would not be at 91mph unless it was not stock and something gave it a good boost at the end. (cough...nos.... cough cough) And there's still all that magical low end power you got... from... where??? Is your vtec backwards?? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]
