Kills...

What have you guys killed?

I've killed a Eclipse GS w/ and intake and exhaust, with an extra person in here car to a little after third gear...about one car length.

I've beaten a 2001 BMW 328, from a stop to a little past second gear...BUT he was well on his way to beat me. I was surprised he didn't catch up in first gear...once he hit second I saw him coming HARD. But then we stopped. He was chipped out w/ an intake. He had a bad launch.

I've beaten an older Porsche 944, from a stop all the way through third gear.

I've taken a Daewoo Nubira from a rolling start in second, I also beat him at the track. He ran a 16.8.

I've taken a second generation Integra w/ intake and exhaust from a rolling start.

I've taken an old Toyota Corolla, from a start.

I've taken a 1999 Gulf 2.0 with an intake and exhaust.

I've beaten a 2000 Civic SI at the track, he ran a 16.4 to my 16.3.

I've taken a CRV to about 120 MPH.

Ummm, a newer Galant ES, from a rolling start.

A 240SX from a dead stop to about the higher RPM's in second.

A few more, but I probaly don't remember.

The Third Generation Eclipses are horrible cars, one of my guys in my car club has one and I ran it at the track...I ran a 17.6. I had a bad launch and didn't redline first, BUT once I was solidly into gear the car is sllooooowwww.

I go around Newark sometimes, don't think I've been to Paterson too many times though.

My car has blue "SOHC VTEC" stickers on it. If it was nighttime you would've seen my underbody neon kit...so maybe you have seen me. What kind of Civic do you have?

The porsche 944. I dont care what you say, he wasnt racing. I know the older ones were slow, but not as slow as our civics. And did you ask what each one of these people had on there car as far as mods go or what.

ok, here comes the "i smell bullshi*" from every angle, but all i can tell you is what happened, i've got a DX, oem body kit (20hp), oem spoiler (10hp), ex wheels (5hp), ss 2.0 drop (10hp), bosal exhaust (40hp), add it up, ive got somwhere around 200hp at the flywheel!!!!!.....ok, seriously now, i raced a beretta GTZ from a rolling start to around 100mph, i've never been so tied with someone in my life, nose to nose all the way up, i looked over at him when we hit about 80mph and he looked pissed, i stopped at 100mph, because we were coming up on two cars doing about 35mph, side by side, he kept going and in has rage he did some stupid *** move to get between them and came within about a half a turn of the wheel of losing complete control...(i don't want to hear no crap about street racing), anyways, his car was done, cf hood, huge rims (maybe that was the problem) + a bunch of the usual mods iam sure, anyways, i know the GTZ is about 180 hp stock, it's a heavy car, but still, maybe it was overtuned, or just old and tired, or the guy just couldn't drive, i don't know, but it felt good anyway, our civics are definatly not slow, this is the first time that all coupe's (manual) and not just the ex, run 16 second QM's stock.....that's a much better start than if you buy a 2000 DX coupe....you would be surprised how many cars you can keep up with running high 16's, and how many car's you thought could beat ya, but when you get to the track are running 17's......16 second qm's is not fast, but it's fun, and a good starting point......
