Name that car *new thread*
My guess is most probably wrong because of the hint you said but... from the looks of the second picture, the 1966 Studebaker Lark Cruiser came to mind, the last year in which it was produced.

I'm gonna go with an Acadian Canso
Also, since I haven't been here for this entire thread, I'm gonna pass this back to pbfoot. I just wanted to get that one out of the way.

Ramcosca, take it since pbfoot doesn't want it. I haven't been in this thread, I just noticed y'all having trouble with that one!
Oh, well. Thanks for participating stinkypie! You know you're welcome here anytime!

Hints:
The company that made this car is not a surviging company.
The name of the car is the name of a region somewhere around the world.
I like that car. (not that it would help much)

packard carribean
new entry

the car was only built for 2 years, and its believed that 1500 cars still exitst.
the car was a bit of an oddity, because it was centered around safety, which was unusual for a sports car.
more clues available....if no one gets it.

Bricklin SV-1, built by General Vehicle... 2,854 cars were built as a total.
It was featured in the September 1974 issue of Playboy...

Nope.
Hints: The car is 4WD. A station wagon was released a few years after first production year.

Good car pbfoot.
It's a very beautiful 2005 Marcos TSO GT2.
I love the newer version more, though... 2007 Marcos TSO GTC.
New car: You can say this is a modified car... it's base car is either a luxury coupe or a luxury sports coupe. That should be enough for those who know about cars.
