200+ MPH 2001 Civic 1.5L
This is not new info, but new to me. I was suprised to find the suspension/chasis and body mods were minimal on a 200 mph civic. The car is also running with a full interior.

its not a matter of how much the suspension has been modified, but rather how its been tuned. meaning you dont Need "coilovers" people want them because thats whats being pushed by vendors and and its what the consumer precieves they need/want. such as the missconception that stiffer = better handling. when in reality you want the softest springs you can get away with (for best handling). Little things like that make people think they need the stiffest this, and the biggest that, when 9 times out of 10 they dont.
but I know I've been down this road before.
In this case, the Eibach setup is probably a good idea, you get a decent damper (good) and a soft progressive spring thats going to be as compliant with the ground as possible (also good) tie that in with their anti-rollbars which are much stiffer on the nose then the rear (read added straight line stablity) and you end up with a car that is nice and stable in a straight line speed runs, but not as good as it could be in the turns.

I see what your saying Zzyzx. The first thing that comes to mind, when thinking of a 200 mph civic, is a tubular framed drag car. I guess that is why I expected a more modified suspension.
