1. anyone that has one, do u like it, how is the drivetrain? the handeling? the interior?

my buddy just picked up a 92 cx hatch and Id have to say its a great car. its got 280k miles and runs and drives great! 5th gen civics have rack and pinion steering, tho, and not power steering like the 7th gens

Yep, and they are one of the best generations to do engine swaps in!

I, myself, prefer the interiors of the older Civics like the '95 to the interiors of the new Civics. I used to have an '89 Accord LXi quite a few years back & I loved the interior of that car.

TopFuel will become famous soon enough
my bro has one and it has about 130k on it...a 1995 honda civic ex coupe in white with gsr rims, aem intake, mud guards. Its running great, interior isnt too bad(grey color) and you can easily swap engines with it. i like how these look, i would prefer it over our 7th gens btw. No major problems really, brakes have been changed and oil has been added every 6k miles, scheduled tune ups help in maintaining it also.

Just stay in 2nd! 3rd sucks and wears out the fastest on any car.

I had a White 95 EX coupe and really liked that car. I put 125,000 hard miles on it without anything going wrong. I kinda drank a little too much tequila one night and drove it through a fence (the road curved to the right, I went straight!). After that it never really rode worth a crap again, so off to the dealer it went as a trade in. I think as far as performance, I like my 7th gen better, but the 5th is definitely a great Civic.
