dude, this will never happen. the B16 is too big for the engine bay, and you will probably get flamed for this post too

well first things first the b-series won't prabally won't fit in out cars..but anyways the b-series has been maxed out that is why honda made the k-series (rsx motor) the k series is more powerful than the b-series

<< and a truck load of cash >>

Therein lies the problem.

Why spend the money when you can probably get a better car for what you spend...

Also, the B18C5 would be a waste, considering for about the same price you could find a K20A2 (from the RSX) that's more powerfull and would be (reletively) easier to swap.

The cab foward design that we have is more restricting on space. My neighbor had VW with a blown 350 so I know crazy stuff can be done but if somebody was to do a swap it would probably be for a K motor not a B.

dude, if you think it's possible go out and do it! Hell, if you do it, I'll do it for sure. bseries engine's are a hell of a lot cheaper than K-series. so I'd be happy. and would have it done next month. but serio usly, i doubt it will fit. I'll go look into thou, if i find any shops around here that do swaps. but i'm 99% sure it's not gonna work. Also, i wouldn't buy the b18c5 because it's overpriced. just get a b20 block, and a b16a cylinder head. then do some engine work, while building it.

1. Can you tell a swap is possible from those pics?
2. Do you have the money to do a swap (at all)?
3. Did you search?

If you answered yes to either of the first two questions by all means try it. If you answered no to question #3, for god's sake do it next time!

P.s. Ignorance is NOT bliss here
Have a nice day and let the flaming commence!

Ok, first of, you see that button next to A? Yeah, above the shift key. Yeah. Press it!

Next, you can't tell if an engine will fit just by looking at it while it's IN an engine bay... I know this, because you're wrong! The RSX engine will bolt right in (I.E. no cost what-so-ever). You just have to move some stuff around (almost no cost, mostly labor costs), unlike a B engine, where you'll have to make engine mounts from scratch (hella expencive), modify the firewall (verry expencive), and most everything else in the bay (including most likely the bay itself, expencive). After all that, you've probably spent enough money to buy a small city in malaysia, and it probably isn't street legal.

If you want a B16 engine get a 6th gen civic. It's not worth it trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole. But hey, it's your money, you can spend it however you want. Go ahead, make that engine fit, just be prepared to spend ALOT of money. And don't say we didn't warn you if it doesn't work.

I know I'm a little late on this, but I think you're right about that whole "1% stupider" thing. It's kind of ironic that you wrote that...it seems to prove your theory, as "stupider" isn't even a word.
