mine too man, i got out today and at my house I have one of those shock things to keep dogs inside fences, and the shock from my car was just about the equivelant to that, the bad thing is my girlfriend laughs like hell at me.......until she gets out and gets the **** shocked out of her too...lol

I found a bypass on that, but it gets old too, never let go of the door when you get out... it works but is kinda hard to do when you have to carry stuff in or something, maybe you can stick your foot on the door to ground yourself then shut it, i dunno just some suggestions...

Cold weather bro, get used to it. This topic has been discussed. Everyone gets it. It's like the car is telling you not to leave

How about running a 14 gauge ground wire from each door to the battery? I'm trying that tommorow.

Just go to your local wal mart and get this stuff called Static Guard, blue can w/ an orange top, spray it on your driver seat and enjoy. Now quit crying cause you won't get shocked for about a month. The stuff wears off eventually.

later

Why does that happen? Does this happen with all new cars or what?

Just touch the window when closer the door. Don't touch the door itself nor the pillars.
