Racing!

Ok, guys here it goes...come saturday, I run my car at the track. So my question...is...what should I set my tire pressure to?

Also, any tips or advice? IE: Change oil? Change filter? Take out spare tire?

good idea running it stock first. then you can tell if the mods make any difference.

definitely take out the spare tire, the back seat, the passenger seat if you can, spare change, CD's, dirty socks, etc. might want to vaccum it too. a wash couldn't hurt, get it aerodynamic and stuff. ok, I think I am going a little overboard now. hehe.

EX?? Auto??
I have a Si (EX) 5 speed, i found about 4000-4500 rpm was good! I would lower the PSI to about 22-25psi. And remember, its all in the 60 foot time, concentare on that the most!

Launch it at 3200-3500... no more than 4000 unless you want to leave tire tracks. Since you're running stock, I'm assuming you're running stock tires.

For some of the nubs, and tell me if I'm totally off, but what I found the best is to:
(manuals only)

keep your revs at a certain point, then dump the clutch and keep your gas constant until you feel the tires grip, then floor it.

Still playing around with what to rev at then dumping.
but some where between 3 - 4500 is good.
