Possibley the worst car ever
So I took my xB to the shop yesterday to finally get my back bumper replaced from when that guy hit me well we go to Enterprise and I see a whole bunch of G6's sitting outside and a Taurus... just my luck I get stuck with the Taurus... This car is the biggest piece of crap I have ever driven. It has power seats but no CD player... No matter how you ajust the seat the brake pedal is too close or the gas pedal is too far away... The car's suspension is so loose it feels like you are sailing in a boat it like sways up and down all the way down the road even on a flat highway... Not to mention it has 10 million annoying indicator noises it makes like when you apply the parking break it has a high pitched beep to tell you it's activated. Thank God I only have to have this car for a couple of days it is driving me crazy and it's only been one day. I hate that car so much from driving it yesterday I feel un motivated to leave the house today.

Sorry to hear that. My first car was a Ford Taurus (1993) and it sucked really bad. Looks like Ford never improved it. You can't say you hate Ford until you driven one! It's a horrible experience!

I got stuck with one when my car was in the shop...Not only did I get a Taurus, I got an older one with millions of miles. Everytime the car went above 3k, the battery light went on (Alternator) crappy interior, shitty headroom....That was the worst week of my life

I guess I've just been lucky because I have never had any problems out of any of my fords(except for my Econoline that had 310,000 miles).
I'd say the taurus isn't that bad of a car. I know many people that drive them without any problems. Also, you can't judge a car based on a rental car(everyone gives rentals hell).
Besides, everyone knows the two worst cars ever are the Chevy Vega and the Ford Pinto

take that taurus and **** it up go do some donuts and burnouts with it, drift it a little have some fun with it its a rental car for gods sake i remember when they gave me a rental dumbest idea on there behalf it went back with no ebrake i salmmed on it so much it broke and that thing got so ****ed up all i did was neutral drop it and had my fun
I felt the same way when my civic was in the shop for a month after my car accident and they gave me a Taurus. Taurus's are terrible (I used to have a 1990 and actually preferred it to the 2000s).
But, one benefit was the benchseat which worked out nicely when the girl I was seeing at the time decided she wanted to sit on my lap while parked after a night of clubbing :-) She would've never made it over the stick shift in my civic... plus the seat sits too close to the steering wheel.
On a tangent, I also rented the G6 for a weekend in WI; did a lot of driving cuz i went from Chicago to Madison, and I must say it didn't really impress me. Maybe cuz it was brand spanking new, but the transmission wasn't very smooth at all.

thats like the stupid grand am i drove. the seat had all sorts of bumps and indents that felt like i was sitting on a shoe. it had a huge engine yet felt slower than the civic, had dumb auto headlights, rocked like a boat in turns, and it wouldn't even let me do neutral drop. it just sat there and wouldn't shift til i let off the gas haha
