Isn't the 2k2 little bit heavier?? More mass equals more lb for hp, otherwise think they are the same, or the driver sucks

Some people can feel the added torque in the new EX.

The power to weight ratio on the 2001-2002 EX is about 0.04716 compared to the 99-2000's 0.0437. The higher the better, so the 2001/2 Civics should be a little faster. If they're both vtecs It'll probably depend on the drivers skill.

Last week I creamed a 1995 Civic with my 2002 LX coupe . (it was fun - stickers don't make ur car fast, sorry) Tonight I got whooped by an Eslipse GS though (95-96 MODEL I THINK). FWD turbo - I knew I'd lose.
I finally got to race a stock Ford Focus tonight too. Beat him by a carlength 2X. The 92 Del Sol that raced with us lost by just under a carlength.

The new EX has a fatter torque range...... peak power is nothing....

The GS are non-turbo.....

CapYoda has a spectacular aura aboutCapYoda has a spectacular aura about
stock for stock. trim for trim. transmission for transmission. a 2k1 is faster.

Your right, I had the GS mistaken for a GS-T I think...it's been so long since I looked @ eclipses I just forgot. That car was pretty freakin quick though.

For a while I wanted a GSX really bad for the AWD turbo, but they were hard to find. I've only seen 2-3 on the road in the last 2 years.

The guy in the Focus said he was 5sp manual - then when I whooped him twice he said oh by the way it's automatic. I was like whatever! (makin up excuses now huh?)

Shud a stock 95 GS be quicker than a 2002 Civic?
