HIN anyone been?
HIN anyone been?
I noticed Hot Import Nights is coming to Orlando soon and I was thinking about checking it out. Just wondering if anyone has been to HIN and what they thought of it.
Is it more car show or more concert? I basically want to walk around and look at cars, models, and manufacturer's booths if they have them. I could give a crap about live music since I'm not really into the same music as 99% of everyone else into modding cars.
Opinions?

Hahaha, the local HIN was supposed to be about 75% cars, 20% girls, 5% music. But, since our country is so full of preverts and sluts it turned out to be around 75% girl time, 10% follow girls around, 5% taking pictures with the girls, 8% oh-look-at-the-Skyline-R33-GT-R, 2% rest of cars.
So yeah, it was something like that.

I say it's cool to go at least once to see what it's like.
Myself...I've been once and have no desire to go again unless a bunch of friends are going, someone else is driving, and admission is free. It's still something to experience just to say you've gone.

Cool thanks guys.
My wife will probably tag along just to make sure I don't get pics taken with any girls.
I will probably go if its not mostly music. I do see why you'd say go once and then never again, especially since it isn't free. You can only see the same crap so many times...
So are there booths with parts and stuff you can buy too?

if you go to the florida section of this site, there is a roll up call where you could hang with the rest of the florida group to HIN Orlando. I been to the Orlando HIN once last year and a few time to Miami HIN. If you go there very early like I do you get tons of free stuff, by the time you leave your hands will be full.
best day to go if you want to get good pics of the cars without all the ppl is to go when its roll-in day..(the day before obviously)...then the day of show, you basically go, check out the girls, eat something , look at the cars, then sit on your *** and think when is this going ot be over (well for me atleast cuz everytime i go my friends cars are entered so i basically wait all night till its over...main point: gets boring

LOL, I'll be showing with my club, along with a couple of other FL 7thgen guys. =)
i dunno im not really a showcar kinda guy. i guess they are fun the first time though, but after that its all the same. i prefer to go to events such as D1 or Formula D cause i'd rather watch cars race than sit there and look pretty.

I've been to two of them.
They're fun, but it's not something I could do more than once per year.
The models are 99% ugly. It seems to me that most of them are just skanky attention ****** that tagged along. With that said, a few of them are gorgeous.
Same for the cars. A lot of rice, but a few shining stars.
There will be a lot of idiots there. A lot of thug wannabe kids and such, but some of them will be big enthusiasts who are cool to talk to. When I went, I met a few guys from 7thgen and they were all very nice guys. We discussed the site, our cars, and the other cars there. It was a great time.
Just go and check it out.

You'll see a good amount of really nice cars, regardless. There will also be cars that make you go "so what." I went a few years ago, it was awesome, I got SO much free stuff, too much to carry even, and the atmosphere was great. Since then, its seeming more cheap and less manufacturers every year.

I've been to old town a couple of times. It's not that great there, usually a bunch of rice.
