intake sensor question
intake sensor question
I have a question
I was taking a look at my friend 98 civic lx. he is planning to buy an short ram air intake. i then disconnected the sensor that goes to the intake while the car was on. I then plugged it in and the check engine light ramained on. My question is why wount the light go off? I tried turning the car off and plugging the sensor back on and that didint work.
Any informatiion regarding this would help
thanks

that still might not work.....i duno how it is with those body vics but for 7thgens its really easy, you just hold the stick? in the cluster while turning your car on and it resets....

instead of disconnecting your battery and resetting everything including your radio (which is a PITA with all my presets and EQ settings) ... pop the hood and pull the ECU fuse out for 30 seconds then plug it back in. No tools needed... just your hand.
