Anyone know where I can pick up a handheld police scanner, for a decent price to?? For um....no reason that is....[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG] What are some good brands also??

Well, any electronics store will have a selection of them....I see them on E-bay.. Just to let you know though, Where I live...Detroit area...The police all switched to a new system and the police scanners won't pick up any police anymore...So make sure your police departments are not using the new systems also.

there are scanners to even pick up the newer systems, they are called trunking scanners....you can pick them up at radio shack (where i used to work)

are you serious? everytime i go to the radio shacks they tell me nothing will pic up the police in the detroit area? Thanks!
