Some Mitsus and Nissans were ****ty too. Hell, a driver might very well be eating an A-pillar in an older Galant!
Anyways, crash test ratings are somewhat moot as a legality status here in the US, seeing how our pitiful standards would allow even a low scoring vehicle to be sold. USDOT requirement is only passing a 30 mph full frontal ... which explains the Daihatsu Charade and the Yugo.
