Dash Trim Kit?
Hey Guys
Anybody have a dash trim kit? I want one really bad, but don't know where to get one, or how they look on a car. If anyone has any info or pics, let me know
Thanks

You want one bad? I think my post will be a little more useful (no offense netcbc). Netcbc is right about the stick ons. But I think the adhesive would be pretty decent.

The factory HONDA metal-look kit is actually pretty nice and looks pretty metallic. The Carbon Fiber and Wood Grain kits look plasticky though. problem with the metal look kit is that it is more of a pewter than a silver and doesn't match the already existing aluminum treatments that came with the car. Like in the AUTO SHIFTER and the inside door locks. I have it on mine and it bothers me from time to time that it doesn't mathc.
I recommend getting one and sanding, priming and painting it yourself. This way you don't have to remove all the dash pieces from the car to paint them and if you screw up or just don't like it, you just throw it out. Also, it's around $80 for the kit so it's also a large financial consideration.
The fact that it's a stick on doesn't bother me. Everything lines up real nice.

The stick-ons aint so bad. But keep in mind that if you don't have tints that are DARK or you live somewhere where it can get pretty hot, those things are bound to crack. Bust brushed aluminum kits arent even real Brushed Aluminum. They are a similar material with an EPOXY coating on top. Similar to what they use for CF kits. But those can crack too. They can also fade. Make sure the brand you buy is a good one.
Check out exoticwooddash.com. I got the blue carbon fiber kit from there and i like it a lot. You can see the pics of it at photos.yahoo.com/nbpcivic the carbon fiber is real and isnt just painted on the top or anything. I get compliments about it all the time since I put it on. Check it out!

I have a carbon fiber dash kit, and i think it looks great. They will stick great if they are installed right. I install 1-2 kits a day at my job, and we NEVER get kits back because they crack.... only the fake CF kits and some cheap wood kits fade, carbon fiber shouldnt pose any problem like that. I have yet to see an aluminum kit that matches our interior, but I only really see product from one company. If you go carbon fiber, just make sure its real CF, I dont know who anybody thinks they're fooling with a fake kit. There is a pic Here, I know it looks kinda weird, my digital camera isnt the greatest.
