buying my rsx-s tomorow at 5pm
<< yes if he is a pretty smart guy why is he acting like a dumbass
and i am siked about getting my rsx-s and the other members were happy for me to i am going to stop responding to his replies >>
To answer your dumbass question:
A lot of people will post stuff on here that sounds really outrageous to others. The others will challenge it and will continue to challenge it until there is some sort of proof. It's probably a good idea to quit responding for you are only egging him on. Just post pics with your post next time and all this can be avoided.
alright. well a matter previously discussed was that the RSX has only 150 or so FWHP, then everybody came back with 200, yes, at the flywheel but for actual WHP, it's much lower. according to Import tuner it has 159.9FWHP, and 120.6lb-ft of torque.

Hey,
Anyway, back on topic please.
Or is this thread offically shot in the ***?
Congrats on the Type-S.
I am in the same boat as you (In a way). I am looking for my preformance car, while keeping the Civic as my daily driver.
I was set in getting the Subaru WRX (See a search of my post to see a thread about that) but have recently decided to hold back for now and study my other options. Which include.
A Project Car like a 92-95 Civic Hatchback, and build it up starting with an engine swap (B16 or maybe B18c1) and adding a turbo and all the other necessities.
Waiting until both the STi and EVO Lancer VII come out next year, and snagging one of those,
Or at that same time, getting a Subaru WRX for a much cheaper price.
While I like the RSX Type S, its not for me. But still a sweet car, especially if your only 17, just be sure you can handle the car.

exactly he is a 17 year old kid! And anytime that people die or there is a will, the person stated to recevie property or have something willed to them must be a legal age of 18 or 21 to obtain legal ownership of property! Kinda like if your mom or dad died! the lawyers and legal people would entrust someone to look after or hold property until legal age is met! Exactly for this reason! They dont want 16 or 17 year old kids going out and blowing this money on cars, hookers, or drugs, when they should be stashing the money away for school or for food ,shelter and clothing, and other basic needs! So ok i will still remain the idiot!
This thread is bullsh't...
He can do whatever he wants cuz he's got the money to do it. If you were 17 and didn't have the money, sucks for you. Let him live his own life and make his own mistakes. Just because he has the money to buy a new car doesn't mean he's wrong for not spending it in a fashion you would.
If you think there's something so wrong with it, why not give him your opinion of what you think you'd do if you were in his situation instead of bashing him like some stupid kid? You're the older, experienced guy, right? The one with more sense? I think not... he's acting MATURE about his decision, and you aren't, Pimp... and that's what makes this argument pointless.

i will answer that pimp because it's not retarded you make a good point but i am going to college and i plan to make something of myself . and yes i can handle it i have been driving stick since i was 12 because my uncle would let me drive his chevy truck on his ranch(mexican old man in a chevy truck lol pretty predictable huh lol )
your right! im going to bed now! atleast when your 35 unemployed and scoopin up babies in your mobile home, you can peep out your platic wrap insulated windows and see that nice rsx and civic getting repossed! Just be smart!dakota
I'd hate to say it, but driving stick since your 12 doesn't mean you can handle it. just don't get carried away. I too am 17, and In 6 weeks i'm getting a lot of cash myself, which has been in the form of a trust fund since i was 10. I did consider buying a new car. but nope, not a good economic decision at all. that's simply wasteing money. I will however mod up my civic. but i'm not going to go as far as buying a 2nd brand new car.
What I mean by don't get carried away is when some ***** in their mustang or GTP or whatever decide's that they want to get by you some afternoon, don't floor it and take your car up to 100mph while downtown, only to nail some minivan turning left (i've nearly done it myself, stupid move). although I too would be excited. hehe. i was really close to buying a Type-S myself, and only recently changed my mind. i'll keep the civic for now. already a nice enough car to drive through college.

Well yeah... but expect to see some criticism.
If you floss it, then you have to deal with whatever is said. People like to bitch. That is normal nowadays.
While it would be a perfect type of world, if everybody just minded their own buisness and not be superfical in other things, like *maybe* getting jealous of a 17yr old having a Acura Type S and is not paying for it.
But c'mon, people always get mad if they see somebody in a better position then themselfs, or try to make themselfs feel better by demeaning somebody's "accomplishments" or merit.
Whatever. People like to bitch.

Congrats on the new car too be dude. Very nice choice. 150 wheel horse power..that maybe be a little low...200 at the engine..a 25% decrese by the time the power is put on the ground? Lest effecient transmison ever? I think not...maybe more like 160-170...dunno for sure..dont quote me. Htown is right though, if your planing on turbo soon, dont waste ur money on mod's now...it'll all be repalced when the turbo comes. Super Street is for kids. Pimpdakota....grow up...be happy for the guy, he's getting a better car than yours, mine, and anybody's civic. Be happy for him, he's lucky.
They can bitch, I'm just saying that sadboy619 doesn't need to pay attention to PimpDakota! He's making his point as if he regretted doing something similar in the past... so what... no need to take it out on someone else.
I'm 18 and OWN, paid in cash at the dealer -- both of my cars a 2001 Honda Civic EX, and 1999 Honda Civic Si. I own my own Townhouse, I pay my own bills - you wanna jump on me now? Im only a year older, and I bet I still make more money than you do.
Don't flame the poor guy just because he decided to share his good news. I agree, maybe he should have posted when he bought it with some pics...but its not like he said "IM BUYING A DIABLO VT" or something. Gee whiz.

pimpdakota has a point though. How the heck could he sell the Caddy that his grandpa left him if he's 17? Did your parents sell it for you and give you the money, or what? I don't think you explained yourself very well. Anyway, congrats. Too expensive for the likes of me though.

B.S. ! He out giving hand jobs to people who own rsx's! if i told you i put fully adjustable obx race seats with harnesses in my car and you called me out asking for picts! well tomarrow i would have picts! i think he was looking for some love!
