Question 99 Turbo/intercooler Ex Question

i have a greddy turbo..and soon intercooled...i was wondering does the intercooler replace your intake or just the filter on the end..i have an aem v2 intake?

I guess the first question would have to be why you have an intake AND a turbo since I don't see that happening without remaking the intake to fit the turbo inlet, inwhich case you wasted 200+ dollars on a POS intake anyways.
Second, you evidently don't have any idea how any of this stuff works. The intercooler goes between the compressor outlet and the throttle, hence INTERcooler.
Pull the charge pipe, plumb the IC, the IC feeds the motor.

i should have rephrased that..its going to be turbo'd..all sitting in my room... and the greddy turbo doesnt come with an intercooler..thats why i asked..thanks

so boiler just answered your question. you WONT have your v2 if you boost. personally id keep the v2 intake... and make it into a dual jet intake that snakes down both sides of the car. kidding.

I guess once you have the turbo installed, just sell the V2. The AEM V2 in no way will ever work or resemble like an intercooler.
