So I've bought the first round of things for my civic.
First on the list is the basics.
2003 Civic EX rally red.
Oil change: AMSOIL EL 5w20
LC oil and fuel additive.
K%N typhoon (SR)
Upper front, Upper Rear Strut tower bars (ebay)
Lower rear tie bar.

I'm looking for some new brake pads, but I'm not sure what kind to get. I want some great stopping power but not to pricey, a not a lot of noise.
Any help would be great.

things I hope to get this summer
Intake manifold as soon as Dezod comes out with one
Full megan racing exhaust system, including exhaust manifold.
New struts and springs, lowering car 1inch.

Along with some stuff to make it look nice.
I have a Rally red civic. And i was thinking of getting a SI front grill leaving it black, and getting black head and tail lights. Bit i don't know how that will look. And maybe tinting the back windows. Not the side don't need a reason for tickets.

Any ideas will help a lot thanks.

ive heard hawk brake pads worked well, blacking out the headlights and tailights would look good also, you dont need to get an si grille just get normal mesh and use that or get an altezza one from ebay or something, you should tint all the windows cause on a red vic it will look sick, if you dont make it too dark you wont get a ticket, just make it the legal limit

some great mods so far. get oem pads and brembo blank rotors. new pads wont really help you stop better, just give off more dust and eat the rotors faster.

Last I heard was that Dezod is not making an intake manifold for N/A applicatons. Unless you plan on going Turbo... scratch that mod off your list.

and i thin kthat is bullshit. i dont underdstand why he wouldnt...there are plenty of poeple who dont want to spend the money on a turbo kit..i think that N/A mani would sell pretty good!
