no more GTO folks.......... styling was alright, I have driven 2 and I feel it's 1 of the best bang for the buck cars..... too bad it's leaving already and again.

Dosen't bother me any... They don't sell them in Canada due to some regulations (correct me if I'm wrong) but I wont miss the cavy Z-24 with a V8...errrr.... the GTO

Monaro is going out of production? Wow! It's been like 6 years since that model went out! Beautiful in it's original body, GTO sucked.
But, eh... Ford's GT is being discontinued too so...

This GTO was never about looks. It did have that one great quality to make up for that: it was fun-to-drive. RIP Goat see ya in another 20 years

It should never have came out as a rebaged monaro. The design was to 90's jellybean for it to last, in a segment full of new, more interesting designs.

Yeh i agree with that, they should have put some more effort into the car and made a whole new body style for the GTO

GM said the reason why they are discontinueing is because new air bag regulations make it not cost efective to keep it in production. Or something to that extent, haven't all the details, but heard it on the news. I guess it was a slow news day.
