I cant legally drive yet, since I'm only 15, but I've been thinking. At first, I was gonna just do the old i/h/e, but clearly that won't cut it. So I was like, hey I'll just turbo it. But then I should beef up the motor. Well, I figured, while the motor was out, why not buy a K20 series motor, beef it up, and turbo it? Also I would need to swap in a manual tranny, and beed the internals of that up too.(since I have an auto tranny now) I would also re-do my whole interior, in all leather, and new climite controls, and that sort of thing cause they just bother me. Should I do all that work or just put the money towards a newer/new bmw m3? I know you guys are all die-hard Honda fans, and some am I... to a point that is
Dude, not to be a ****, but you cant even drive yet. You dont need something with that kind of power right off the bat. stick with the stock civic til you get better trained.

It seems like you're looking for an Acura CSX. My suggestion is to move to Canada. Thats what I want to do. hahaha.....
Buy a tiny little Honda when you can, probably a Fit, and save money on gas. Throughout the years, you'll save enough money to buy a great handling car, or to help you put yourself through college to get that uber great luxerycar.

You need to learn the limits of the car in its current form before you can decide to make changes.
If you don't know what you are doing and change things right off the bat, I promise you you'll have a false sense of security with the car and eventually hurt yourself or others.

I think you should drive with a stock Civic first... So in the long run if you do ever get a nice motor and turbo you will appreciate it more, and build up skill! (Not saying your a bad driver) And what you’re describing above sound like a lot of money. I think I need to drive trucks and tractors.

a buddy of mine wanted to ride a friends R1 street bike. He had never driven a street bike before. He said "Its just a big bike. How hard can it be?"
About 30 seconds later, he was dead. He hit an old cadillac doing over 100mph.
Driving takes years of experience. Dont go brushing it all off because your parents sat you on their lap while driving as a kid.

don't let your ambition for speed take over your common sense. Take the time to learn how to drive right. Im 17 and ya I think I'm a good driver but there are still alot of things I can learn. Try taking a few advanced handling lessons at a track there a lot of fun and it will benefit you.
Build what you want.
btw, listen to the guys here they know alot

I've driven E36 and E46 M3s trust me you're not ready for them. I was 18 driving those and while it was fun it was a little scary. Rear-wheel drive is a whole other monster especially with 250-300whp. You should just stick with FWD learn the car, upgrade it to your liking (i/h/e, turbo, swap, swap+turbo, n20), learn that some more, then trade up.
I've been around bimmers all my life. They are some of the most fun cars to drive, but they do give a lot of headaches. My cousin has had to replace so much **** on his 2000 E46 it's not even funny. Maint. is a bitch not to mention insurance. My uncle hasn't had any problems with either of his M3s (he has a E36 and an E46) but he does a lot of preventive maint. on them.
