The New Tiburon
I drive / love my SSM 2k1 EX Coupe, and I know hyundais are almost always ,
but check this out -ebay-
Ive heard of the v6 tiburon for a while, and i've seen press photos, but never "candid" shots.... remove the hyundai logo and I think its a very nice looking car, minus all the plastic bs under the hood. but a v6 powered sporty coupe! its kinda nice. The old tiburon was a pos though....

yup. the korean car manufactures are pumping their cars out better and better. I dont think the old tiburon is that much of a POS, its okay IMO... but the new one is definitely more stylish without all those wild styling... I think the MSRP on the v6 will be around 18 grand. not bad at all eh?
anyway, wonder if their reliability has improved or not.. I think so, but most people seem to still frown upon hyundai. *shrug*
cars I'll recommend from it are the 03 Tiburon and the Elentra GT.

WOW.....very nice improvement...and its a V6
id have to do something about the headlights, grill, and possibly taillights.....maybe if they had blackouts for lights front and back...
looks like a celica from the rear....is it a hatch?

I sat in 1 at the Toronto AutoShow on Saturday... i'd actually say it was one of the best cars there for the money...
It looks f00kin amazing in person and the interior is right up there with the RSX. I think i actually like the look better too.
Its only the engine that concerns me because i know nothing about it and im sure it doesnt have the reliability of a Honda... but neways i'd drive it... its pimp

I saw them at the Motor Trend internation Auto show. They are a very nice looking car, way better than most of the Korean cars. It might be its saving grace. The GT version can haul ***. The plastic in the engine is a pain in the ***, but you know what, lots of car companies are doing it. It seems rediculous, but i guess they want their engines to be hidden. Not a big fan of Hyundai, but I have to give it to them on the new Tiberon.
<< theres a hyundai near by, and b/c hyundai loves to sell they like test drives i'm gonna test one when it hits the lot >>
They got ten of 'em sitting in front of my local dealer. I drive past it every day at lunch. They look pretty cool in person.

Looks dope, liking the power too. But what the heck is up with all that plastic crap? If I go under the hood it is because I want to see/work on the engine, not some plastic panels.

keep in mind that hyundais (and kias) are a lot cheaper than other brands of cars. how do they make them cheaper? answer: use cheaper parts and cheap unskilled labor to put them together. whats this leave you with? answer: a car thats going to have lots of problems and lots of things that need fixed especially as it gets older. they may have a 10 year warranty, but keep in mind, thats powertrain only. the rest of the warranty will expire after 5 years/60k. and from what ive heard, it can be hard to get them to cover stuff, they are more strict about what is considered a "defect in material or factory workmanship"
and i would like to see you get 200,000 miles out of a hyundai
Dang!!! Definately an improvement! And I also think it looks kind of like a supra. And I agree about the dependability thing. But if you are like me, you arent going to see the day it hits 50K miles cause you will have already gotten rid of it. I think ill see 50k on the civic though...I have waaaaaaaayyyyyy to much money in it already!!!
Nice tiburon though!

uhhh reminds me a LOT of an RSX
i have to give it to them, i think they're posers, but hyundai still made a good move in redesigning this time.
still...it's a hyundai. i'd never buy one.

Yeah if Honda can squeeze 220hp for the RSX type R on a 4 cyl engine then I don't know why you need 6 cyls for only 180hp. I guess Honda is ahead of the game.
