enh, I really did want my next car to be a TL, but its becoming increasingly common in the Bronx. I mean I love the TL but I don't want to have what everyone else has, which is why I was thinking of the 525. I was also thinking about a E-class but my benz education is very limited. I know more about bmws than a benz.

525 doesn't have as much power as the TL. If you want a 5 series, it has to be a 530i or 545i.
Between the TL and 525i, TL is a better buy.

a person i know (which i got the 05 5 series headlight from) has the 05 525i and her bro has an 05 TL...both very nice...i would take the TL over the bmw tho cuz of the power

TL does handle fairly well, especially with 6 speed, Brembos and LSD. Dont get me wrong, I am pro TL ever since the model after the 2.5L 5 cylinder engine. Just wanted to point out what other folks havent.... I have a habit of that be it pro or con.

i like both cars alot, and it's really up to you, but i'd say go with the TL. I'm not sure how BMW fairs in terms of reliablility in their new batch of cars, but you know for sure Acura's very reliable. My cousin has the 525i, and it's nice and all, but it's smaller inside than it looks. Both cars are cool, if you have the money for a 5 series then go for it.

Yea I'm really leaning towards the TL more than anything. I was thinking about the 525 because I haven't seen too much people with it in my area, the TL is becoming popular but I see why. G-damn @ 30Kmore. I'm not a fan of RL, never even paid those any attention. I used to love the shape of the 2000 3-series, never really did no research on a M3, always thought they was too expensive.

I love the BMW, make sure if u do get one you buy it brand new, and as soon the warrentys up sell it. If the thing ever does break down on you and you dont have warrenty then you are going to have a big bill for labour and parts, its this way in canada at least. One of my buddies has one and he get rid of it when warrenty expires and gets a new one. Another thing u could do is lease it.

Is it true that the M3 we know of will be discontinued? As well as all the 3 serie coupe.

In the future there will just be 2, M2, 4, M4 and 3 serie will only be sedan?
