07 Tundra
i like it

My take: although i think it looks awesome, domestics owns this segment for years. however, this should definately raise a red flag to Ford/GM. this puts toyota in the scene and be known, should stir things up in a few years or so.

I didn't like the last gen Tundra, but this one looks way better. Is it me or do the Radio, and AC controls kinda seem far from the driver, I mean look at how wide that console looks. I know I'm short so i'd probably have to stretch (guess that's my problem but otherwise I like it). I'd probably never get one but a year seems like a long time.

toyotas trucks are absolutly indestrubtable. this is another nice example of why toyota is weeks away from being the biggest car manufacturer in the world. All they need now is a supra replacement and a celica replacement (maybe MR2 replacement) and they are perfect.

I think it looks very toyota-ish. You won't mistake it for a chevy or a ford so that is a good thing for toyota.

my dad has an 03 tundra, and an 85 toyota pickup, both awesome trucks. i showed him the new tundra, he said he might trade the 03 in for that. he will def check it out though. 5.7l v8. and its supposed to be bigger than all the domestics in the same class, as far as same cab sizes go.

let's face it, toyota knows the market niche. they have been dominating the car scene. the truck segment is the one that they are lacking on as of now because domestics like f150 and silverado have those covered. the re-introduction of the full size truck with the tundra is a genius move inorder to put them back into the scene. now, this new 07 tundra is absolutely a step up from the previous one. like i said, give it a few years time and toyota would clearly give the f150 and silverado a run for their money. they are visible in the truck segment now and time will tell.
Its not bad. But its still not going to compete with the Domestics. The Titan flopped big time and the Titan is a very nice truck. People that are going to use a truck AS a truck arent going to want a foreign pickup.
