I got a ticket the other night on the way to the races, luckily the cop got me for goin only 85 in a 65 while i was goin over 100 tryin to catch up to my group. He gave me a ticket for that and failure to use turning signals. I accidently gave him the insurance card for my old 99 civic, and on the ticket it says 99 blue civic, and i have a 2001 black civic. If you look at my car from an angle at night it looks blue, so im thinking thats why the cop did that, but i was just wondering if i could get the ticket dismissed because a lot of my friends said that i can for wrong info. umm...why would it matter what color your car is or year? you were speeding and deserve the ticket.

If it does then yeah you can get it dismissed..... he wrote the wrong info, go to court with your CURRENT insurance card and show the judge.... say.... Well, i drive a 2001 Black car not a 99 blue one.... you know what i mean!!!!!!

your insurance doesnt' matter, they just check to make sure you have insurance.

Well, it pretty much goes like this:

The cop wrote up a ticket with errors on it. The ticket probably does have your correct license number and vehicle tag, so they DO know it is you! I had a ticket like that, I asked the judge to just send me to traffic school, even though I did not deserve it (I was going way faster than allowed, meaning past +25). I asked nicely, so the judge did let me go, citing that an error on the ticket was enough of a doubt to allow me go.

But here is the HUGE kicker! Mistake or not, YOU gave the cop false information. The fact that he did not catch it, does not prevent the judge or DA from catching that and making the ticket even worse.

I say, go to traffic school, the comedy ones are cool, plus I heard of a racing driving school where they actually let you do spins and stuff. You know, actually teach you how to drive safely! I would pay for that just to go.

Listen to me buddy.. I have been to court many times, for work purposes.. you can not only get that citation dismissed but you can also humiliate the badunka out of that doughnut eating pig, think about how his doughnut eating fraternity brothers will make fun of him aswell.. I just hope he was a rookie, otherwise.. Muahahahah.. Get internal affairs on him, no need for you to say you 'accidentally' gave him the wrong card, simply state that he was incorrect. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure these things out, specially with all their fruity christmas colored strobe-lights and beams. I am taking my citation to court aswell, for a similar event, yet my ticket sais four doors aswell, plus blue, where it should of been two doors and black.. My concept.. the PIG had the ticket ready.. and I happenned to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.. as he either confused me, or something else is going on where internal affairs better jump in.. but to me.. I hope you all O.D. on them glazed doughnuts, I dont know of ONE person that has been saved, rescued or much less helped by an officer. Blood is thicker then water. So I understand. But would you defend a murderer? How about someone that was imprisonned falsly.. A.K.A. False Imprisonment. Its those simple mistakes.. that lead to others. As the world trade center insident, COULD of been prevented.. but instead of us Americans beeing able to let our minds expand so we can come up with the most highly sophisticated security systems ever dreamed... we struggle to simply survive, and further on are harrassed by Da Police. I am very disgusted.. I'll pray for your ticket to vanish kid. On da realz.

When that cop comes to testify and tells the judge you gave him an insurance card for a car you don't drive anymore, who do you think he's goig to believe, the cop or you?

First of all how in the hell is the cop gonna prove he gave him that card, MIND YOU, it doesnt matter if it was a UNO card.. and second, that COP will not remember about the card, much less does he know till trial that it was due to the card, blame it on his doughnut scarfing @$$, not the card.

If you dont have constructive criticism, then shut it... before the thread gets locked, or you get a flamer of the decade title belt, hehehe. Another thing to take into concideration, not everyone can afford to pay for a speeding ticket, some kids would have to work a whole week or 2 just to pay the ticket, then is the traffic school. Which now-a-days is usually combined for your benefit. BUT we must have empathy, how about FAMILY, and bills? What should they had thought of it when they were speeding? You know when the adrenaline is rushing you can't think like that, lmao. Specially when you're under influences.. nah that was entertainment stuff, of course he should of thought about it, dont get me wrong, IM NOT AN IDIOT.. FLAMING LAMERS... but may the perfect driver(s) flame away. Hence NO ONE IS PERFECT...

Man black you got a lot of issues here man. I've got no problem with cops. Granted I've never been pulled over, they're doing their job. Do you think they enjoy pulling people over? Knowing whether or not the guy in his car has a gun and is ready to take out a father of 2 or a mother of 2 because he doesn't want to get a speeding ticket. Think about that.
