I got rid of my Si back in August and have been saving up money since to get a new car in the spring. I was hooked on the Accord until I started looking into the TSX. What do you guys think? Oh...and I dont want navi.
Accord (25,500)
6 spd
3.0 v6
2 doors
l.e.d. tails
build quality (u.s.)
around 3200lbs
21/30 mpg
lower ins. rate
TSX (26,645)
6 spd
2.4 4cyl
4 doors
h.i.d. heads
build quality (japan)
around 3200 lbs
21/30 mpg
higher ins. rate

i love coupes, but damn does that tsx look good.

I'll throw in my 2 cents for the Accord, better engine out of the box. The TSX engine always struck me as a bit anemic and 4-doors are 2 more than you need
plus it seems like I'm seeing more and more of them around with teenagers driving them (maybe thats just around here...). The Accord coupe always reminded me of a Mercedes from behind for some reason too. Not to mention that having a 3.0 means a bit less shifting, which is always a bit of a godsend for city driving.

My buddy used to have an 04 v6 6spd that he just recenlty totalled. That car has some major *****. I drove the new 06 with the DBW throttle.....and it makes the car feel EXTREMELY sluggish. The throttle response is **** compare to the 04. I dunno tho, still a sexy car.
As far as the TSX, never drove one, but they are definitely nice. IMO, if you want luxury, go TSX, if you want sporty, go Accord.

I really like both cars, have u thought about get the 4door accord? I think those are badass
as for the pricing, i believe the TSX costs higher than 26k
but if u can get one for 26k, I'd go for TSX instead of accord
Acura sounds alot better than honda lol =)

i thought i'd be alone here but there's more support than i thought for the accord. When i read the title to this posting i thought i was gonna say TSX too but honestly having 2 doors makes that accord very badass. i like the 3.0v6 too, thats more engine for less money.
i think you should go with the TSX. it's a nice car all around, has 4 doors, made by acura....... made by acura. hahah my friend has the TSX and his older bro HAD the tsx, the cars bomb-diggity if you ask me. His bro got the TSX when it first came out, and he modded it pretty nice and some company bought it off him for much more than what it was worth for the car and all the mods, he got a good deal off of it, and my friend got one last year after his bro sold that one, and he's modding his now too, and it looks tight!!!

thanks for the input guys......i dunno what the hell im gonna do when spring comes
It all depends on your goals for the car. If u just want a daily driver i say go for the accord. But if u want to do alot of mods i say go for the TSX, just because it has more aftermarket support.
Smuggling bananas and mexicans all for one low price...

I would say TSX...lots of potential...however...it's no speed demon...but it is a cross of luxury and style...yes they do recommend Premium fuel only though...I guess that's the "ONLY" thing wrong with it...plus it's a four door...more room...leather...HID's....sunroof...or if you could swing a TL for the same price...I would definitely do that...
