Please Help!

Wassup everybody! I just recently got the 2k1 Civic 4dr LX. I'm new to all this HondaTuning stuff but wanted some advice on how I can fix it up. I want to work on the inside of the car first by beefing up some serious horsepowers. I guess what I want to know is... what is the easiest thing to start on in the car? The only thing I've done to it is changed out the radio. Hopefully I plan to customize everything in the car. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

After that you can go nitrous. I would suggest doing a search. All this information is on the site already!

Welcome to the Forum dude......

The first three things you want to do (under the hood) is Intake, header, and cat-back exhaust....in that order
if possible. When you get an intake, save yourself time and money and get a CAI, no matter if you have an auto or a manual, get the Cold Air Intake, if you get a Short Ram, you will eventually break down and get a Cold Air, as I did. But as far as getting SERIOUS HP from your car, won't happen unless you go with forced induction ie: Turbo, and those are expensive and aren't even available at this time. Start by pumping more air in and out of your engine.....

like everyone else has said, get an intake, header, and catback exhaust. you will notice minimal gains with that, but it will produce a nice sound and make you "sound" fast. hehe. the only thing that will make you go faster that is really available for our cars at the present moment is N20 aka nitrous oxide, juice, NOS, etc. have fun with your car man.

Let me read a quote out of a NOS Broshure.
"Will Nitrous harm my stock engine?"
NO! A kit that uses the correct NOS brand factory calibration will not cause increased wear. The key is choosing the correct H.P. for your application. A 4 Cyl. normally allows an extra 40-60 H.P. gain. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations, insist on the original. - NOS

Also, beware when spending big $$ on the I/H/E setup... you may only gain 10 HP total and actually loose speed at revs below 3k

NOS is good if you plan on racing
