dream project car? Probably a Ferrari F50. Koenig's twin turbo kit, along with all the other accessories, would make it perfect when done. literally perfect.
If I was on a budget I would buy an 300hp Ariel Atom, with all good accessories, for roughly $55,000 and opt to assemble it myself. That would be a huge project (100+ hours) but thats what I would want.

Shelby Cobra 289, an early corvette any model from '53-'57 (preferably convertible), S2000, Pajero Evo.
Well, I'd replace the old car's engines with modern engines/electronics and make them overall great cruisers. The S2000 I would just add a supercharger and see what else I could do to it... The Pajero on the other hand, well, I've always loved Mitsubishi's off-road worthyness. They're what Jeep is overseas... So, I'd like to modify it more for off-road purposes...

had a project car 1970 mustang mach one. Was actually first car. Wish I had neve sold it, at the time though I needed a car to drive not a car in the garage in pieces. had a 351 a four speed a locked rear end. But if I was to get a project car now I d like to build a skyline r32 gtr. I love those body styles, possibly a 240 sr20dett, silvia front end swap
Dream Projects: a 1932, 1934 and 1937 Fords with an LS1, minor tubbage in the rear, and paint so deep you think youll fall in. Gotta love a 1937 Ford with either a Gibbons or Phantom body on it, nothing else in the world looks as sleek as that.

My latest are a civic hatch of some kind turned into a fwd dragger. And my car that I have in my garage its a ol skool 240z I am gonna swap a motor just not sure which one. I have been going back and forth between rb25det or and sr20det. Ohh ya and the atom I would have to second that. I have been wanting to build these too....old bug, old porsche, datsun 510.
Either a 71' chevelle ss, 68' camaro ss, or an old nova. I also would of course like a shelby GT500. Actually I think I would rather have a 69' Impala 2 door again. My Dad bought one for me and we were supposed to restore it, but he eventually said he was too old and had lost his enthusiasm, so he sold it
Actually maybe one of these, the cars that started it all!
Edit: Cannot get pics up, let me get the URL.

a dream project car... if it was a dream then i would get the Mirage GT. would be kinda nice if i could blow 2 million on a project car... but in reality, i would probably want to get either a porsche 911 Turbo 90-96 and then just make it into a all around contender as in cornering and straight way speed or a e30 or e36 (e36 most likely) M3 or 325CI and just boost the living hell out of it. ive come to terms with what really counts in a car and thats ***** out handling.
I don't know about it being a "project" car, but it sure would be a project getting it over here:

My dream project car would be a BMW E46 M3 and build it up to come as close as i can to look and drive like the M3 GTR....
