Put the skunk2 on my car
- so coming home from class today, i see a big box in the front office. i hear someone in the background yell, "what the hell is skunk2?"
- thats when i realized that my exhaust finally came in. it took only a week for it to arrive. btw, it only cost me 505 for the full stainless steel system
- so i took to the local muffler shop to have it installed. it only cost 60 for labor and only waited for an hour.
- i had only one problem though, the skunk2 muffler didn't hang low enough b/c it was touching the rear under spoiler. the guy had to fix the hangers, it looks nice.
- so all in all, the sound is spectacular, much louder than the tcs and magnaflow, reminds of the greddy. i think the torque stayed the same. the high-end performance was better.
- i know the piping is a little bigger than 2.25 b/c it has to be converted from the japanese mm system. i think its like 2.38
- i guess its an aem cai next.
- too bad i don't have a scanner.
- i do have sound clips though but its under another previous post.

- you can thank phillippe for the site, they're under the 2k1 civic .com folder
- that's not my car or me though, but the sound is exactly the same.

Are you sure it will sound the same, that is a totally different car and therefore it has a different motor which will make your exhaust note sound different.

- in japan, skunk2 was known as rsd invidia, actually they wrapped the exhaust in plastic that had the printing: invidia.
- the sounds are the same, trust me, very deep tone, smooth throughout all rpms, especially when the vtec kicks in, sounds like the greddy. never has that high pitch sound at the high rpms.

Lexboy, you are a moron. I hate reading your posts. Anyway, "concur" means to agree with... just so you know for future ignorant posts. Also for the future, stop wasting our time with posts like this. Contribute, dude. That means in a positive manner, not just for the sake of opening your mouth. If you have a question, ask. If you have some info you think would be helpful to others, do tell. If you would like to comment on something to provide additional information about a product, part, or answer someone else's question, that would be nice too. Just think before you just post nonsense. I am sick and tired of stupid ricers like yourself.
