You want something reliable?
go for all of the above except for the STi. all those cars should last you.
=)
if it was my choice, i think i'd go for either the S2k or G35coupe.

Exclamation

S2000 - Sexy car, doesn't respond well to N/A mods, boost is the only way to go, but is costly. Interior is cramp and the dash is ok. High end is nasty but torque is soley missing.

G35 coupe - Very sexy car (hehe, ), doesn't respond well to N/A mods, boost it the only way to go, but is costly. The VQ sounds ****ing awesome and the interior is sweet, with a very upscale dash.

350 z - Very sexy car, doesn't respond well to N/A mods, boost it the only way to go, but is costly. The VQ sounds ****ing awesome and the interior is nice, and the dash is ok. It has blind spots thou. Has a better power to weight ratio over the G35 and has great pickup and TORQUE!

STI - IMO, great looking exterior and interior car. Boost is addicting and the power is a rush like no other (in stock form). After you feel the power surge from the turbo it's hard to go back to a N/A 2.2liter or 3.5liter. AWD is a great feature and the H4 sounds like a v8 at WOT. Responds well to mods, but don't expect to make big power for cheap. The 2.5 isn't as great when it comes to mods as the old 2.0 (JDM STi) engines. The car I would buy out of the four.

maybe the new skyline when it shows - If you can afford this estimated 70k car, buy it immediately... but it's not dropping till 2008 stateside.

I like the S2K but I don't fit in it. I'd get a G35.

The G35 and 350Z have great gains from N/A mods. Actually i think the 350z has one of the best responces to N/A mods in its class...

girlz love s2000's...i would pick a s2000 then supercharger it. if i wanted more straight line speed, turbo that biatch instead. problems with a s2000 is that low end its a slob, insurance rates are horrible if you have a bad history, and if your like 6'5 you wont fit in it.

Depends on where you live and what your into. Seriously all these cars are very unique and have their pros/cons. I would take STi over EVO. It will be hard to find 04-05 STi but that would be my 1st choice.

I chose the s2k over Z because I like the Z32 more than the 350, and if I was going to get a small car it might as well be a vert. The STi and EVO are awesome cars for what they are but they look too ricey while the s2k looks a bit more classy. I've driven the STi and the power was nice but felt disconnected while driving spirited and the gearbox felt like crap.

low end doesn't feel too slugish you get a sense of speed more by momentum rather than just some low end grunt. The car only weighs 2800lbs.

this is great stuff fellas, i think im mainly torn between the s2000 and the g35 i WANT those. The only reason i even was considering the 350 was for affordability tho i dont know if the 350 or the g35 would be better, that "its only a honda" remark is usually the last thing a mustang owner says before having his *** handed to him haha.
Im a honda guy thru and thru so im leaning towards the s2000 im about 5 ft 10 so id fit in it i think.
ok so im pretty much eliminating the STI and the 350 which is good.
ok so now s2000 VS G35
lets get some comparrisons on that

i like the s2k because its a honda, reliable, classy and fast.
i like the g35 because its friggen beautiful, very classy and fast, i dont know about its reliability and its way more expensive than an s2000

im just thinking of how much im going to have to spend to get a nice g35 vs a nice s2k, i wont be buying new more than likely because either way i would want to have money left to supercharge either of them.
Which would be quicker the blown s2k or the blown g35 ?

i would go with blown s2k. stock for stock s2k takes a g35 so im thinking a blown s2k will rape it even more since it will get some low end from the sc

is it just a weight difference? Isnt the s2k underpowered by 40 horses or so from the g35?

i think the boosted g35 takes the boosted s2k..... should have a good bit of gains on both but the g35s reactions to boost is sick

Hmmm, the G35 vs the S2000.

That is a tough one. They're both great cars.

The G35 has a lot more torque, but its also heavier and is tuned for a more luxery ride.
The S2000 is a 4-cylinder sportscar meant to handle well from the factory.

I think they would both cost a lot to tune. Engine wise, you'd probably get more range from the different mods for the G35's VQ, anything from mild to overly wild. The S2000 will probably only go boosted to get more performance.

They both look great too, but you'll turn more heads in a droptop... so I say, S2000!
