Once And For All: Will Coupe Body Kit Fit Sedan?

I read FlexEx's post about the lengths, and someone said they appeared to be the same. Well I would like to get an agressive kit, but after paint and install, that would be wayyyyy too much money. I might have enough in a lil while, but I don't wanna go broke spending money on my car, cuz I've put a whole lot of money on it already. Well what I would like to do is get the OEM coupe sideskirts cuz they just look so clean looking on 01IncaPearl's car. I already have the Tsunami front lip, and I think the OEM sideskirts would go pretty well and give it a clean look as well. Does anyone know the actual answer? If it needs modification, what exactly needs to be done and how much?

Well, just by doing a completely unscientific comparison of This Sedan and This Coupe it looks like the rear bumper wouldn't be interchangeable. The angles on the sedan are sharper than the ones on the coupe. But it looks to me like the front and the sides may fit.

Thanks Inca! Someone said they measured and they were both 74 inches or something. $300 for painted OEM sideskirts wouldn't be too bad.

length of side is the same on the coupe and sedan but only some sideskirts will fit.take a look at the kaminari one. i don't think that will fit on a sedan cause of the design.

Would the 2dr sideskirts fit on the sedan when it has 4 doors? I've seen some sideskirts for 2drs and some of them wrap on the extra space between the door and back fender along the body, but the sedan has 4drs... so I'm don't THINK it'll fit... will it? Or would there have to be any modifications...???

there's some sideskirts for the sedan on...

Vis Racing - 4 Door Sedan
&
4 Door Sedan Body Kit

Check these sites out to see if there's any side skirts for the sedan you like... I found these not too long ago.

please respond... I'm curious myself as whether to if the 2dr sides will fit the 4dr...

Yea, I'm very aware about what's out for the sedan. Anything aftermarket though is gonna cost an arm and a leg. That's why I wanna go OEM, sideskirts painted and shipped for $300.

Yes I did in fact check and just from measuring the two cars where the side skirts would go they are not interchangble. Sorry.

That's odd, different measurements for the same car between two members. Guess I cant get the OEM kit then . Well I guess I'll just save up and wait for more aftermarket stuff to come out.....

I dont get it inca, sides are the same length, but then you say its 6 inches longer. You actually have the oem kit though, so I guess I'll trust u that it wont fit.

Hey inca and i measured it at our meet awhile back and infact the sides will not fit! they are about six inches shorter on the 2 door! that is why the rear ends of the sedan and the coupe are different! Even the roof s on the coupe are shorter! All you gotta do is look at a parts sheet! they seperate 2 door from 4 door because even the frond doors are different! the only thing that is the same is the front end of the vehicle! meaning from the a pillars forward!

AHEM!

6 inches?!! learn how to measure!

My RS sedan sideskirts fit my friends coupe PERFECTLY!!! Full rear bumpers are NOT interchangable between coupe and sedan, HOWEVER, rear valences are(like oem style). Any front end will fit either the coupe or the sedan. ALL sideskirts are the same length, HOWEVER, certain sideskirts were designed to fit a two-door only. They can be modified to fit a sedan, though.

Lets have a look, shall we?

this sideskirt will NOT fit a sedan without modification. look to the rear of the sideskirt behind the door.

this sideskirt will fit the sedan just like it fits this coupe. why hasnt Honda been selling sedans with bodykits from the factory? maybe theyre just as ignorant!

Damn, you guys are confusing. Flex Said the oem would fit, but Inca says it'll be 6 inches short. And now I just read that the trunk lids are different sizes too. There goes my hope for the oem coupe spoiler on my sedan .

Aznnp77, don't lose hope untill you drive to the Honda dealer with a tape measure. then all you questions will be answered. I've confirmed everything I posted, however, I, too, am curious about the coupe spoiler. i dont see why it wouldnt fit, but why dont you take a field trip to the good ol' honda dealer and let us know what you come up with!
