15" or 16" wheels?

Guys, like I said in my previous post, we've picked out a new car for my wife, a '02 EX Sedan. Because I'm lazy, I was all ready to just get the OEM 15" 5-spokes from the dealer. One of your kind members pointed out what an asinine idea that was. This will be her daily driver and will NEVER be auto-x'd or run on a road course so I'm trying to figure out if I should go with a 15" or 16" aftermarket wheel.

I'm fully aware of the inherent advatages that 17" wheels afford for a shorter, stiffer sidewall and wider contact patch as I'm running Bridgestone RE730s 225/45/17 on my CL-S. I can't see any reason why I should do 17s on the Civic other than looks since it is a daily driver. Thoughts?

well if u realllly have to get aftermarket rims between 15 or 16 i would say just go for the 15 since u have 15 '' tires already but firestones suck...but if i were u and u didn't wanna go over 16'' go on www.urbanracer.com or the partstrader .com and see if u cna do a swap some pople are looking for stock wheels to trade in their car...or just get stock shiet....spending money on 16z is a waste if u already have 15'' tires and its not a big difference appearance wise

BUY THESE!

also try these

go 15s for pure performance. 16s are a consession to looks over functionality.

you can get a better deal on the oem wheels at H and A Accessories, you could also get the 99-00 Si wheels from them, theyre 15's and look good on 7th gens

joe: were you trying to show any specific wheel on the second page?
