crossed fingers... s2000
well... i've got my fingers crossed. my mom has finally decided to get a new car. the car she's driving now is a RAV4, and its pretty beat up. she's decided to use the rav4 for the business and get a new car for her personal use
. i got her leaning towards the s2000. and if she gets it, i'll be get to drive it
. i wanted to know what a good price was for a new s2000, and how much some have paid for this car. and anything else i'll need to know when going in to negotiate. thanks in advance.

Well, yahoo says the MSRP is around 34k, but I'm sure you could get one for around 32 because it is the winter time. they prolly dont sell as many this time of year.

. anyways, im not gonna let her absue this one I wouldn't buy a 06 s2000. The new seats look ugly, so do the wheels, and just seems to be a bit more tame with the tcs. You can find a good ap1 or ap2 for under $25k. I saw a blk/red 01' with 30k for $18,000. IMO the ap1 looks more subtle with the OEM and its blk rear diffuser, whereas the ap2 looks more aggresive. Along with the 9k modding the ap1 would be easier all you need is 4.56 gears. Ap2s have a 4.10 ratio stock but with a 4.56 ratio they would be limited to 135mph. I've hit 150 at 7500rpm once.

you should be able to get a good deal at the dealership right now. You could also wait awhile for the 2007 and then get a better deal or just buy a used one. Good luck and keep us updated
