Chrome rims look good on only a select few automobiles in this world. The Honda Civic isnt one of them.

They look good on a select few like JoeB16 said. I think they look k3wl on hot rods from the 40's and 50's for example. I think the civic looks good with racing type wheels in either silver, gun metal, black opal, or white. Depending on the body color of course.
My friend has a Gold 2DR Civic EX with the stock 12 spoke chrome wheels and it's the most digusting thing I have ever seen! I believe that if you're going to put chrome wheels on a civic, it should be a dark colored car... black, dark-blue,... plus you gotta choose the right design for the wheels as well, mose people get the boomerang 4 spoke wheels, which isn't really original because everyone has them... that's my opinion.
Well, that's my thought about chrome wheels on our civics...
NO CHROME ...chropme wheels make people want to all over themselves, and others !!
There is this fool in my apts. that has a 96 Civic with some bling bling *** chrome rims, and I see him eyeballing my
sh it and I look at him like
and I'm like what's up dude, what's up with those ugly azz wheels.

I'm gonna have to contradict everybody that's posted on this so far and say that if you get the right style of chrome rims, they could look good on anything. You'd be one of the few who has them on a 2k1 civic, which is always good. Think of chrome under eternal blue...HOT!!!
Just my opinion tho

lets juss say that umm.....they are not made for imports like the civics, accords, s2000, celicas, rsx's, ITR's, si's, and various more that
i dont wanna count them but chrome=

Since our cars are'nt really for racing anyways, I say chrome is acceptable. I am saving up for chrome rims. They are heavier, but I know I'm not going to be racing anybody with my 4 cylinder automatic LX. Since they are mostly for show anyways, might as well make them look good.
It's really a matter of opinion. If the rims look good on your car, no matter what it be then get it. You're the one who'll be driving the car, so enjoy what you put on it.
