cold weather and aluminum shift *****
well i have decided i officially hate my skunk2 shift ****. it is cold as hell out now and everytime i go to drive my car the shift **** is ice cold and it takes forever for it to warm up and it makes my hand extremely cold. i think it is time to make a winter cover for it out of a beer cousy. who hear has this problem ?

yeah i cant wait for the blazing summers to come i didnt have to deal with that but i like my beer cousy idea the sock is boring and easy

i read the tital 2 this thread i thought 2 my self god thats gotta suck. i know my steering wheel is ice cold in the mornings im guessin a cover could fix that

yeah in the summer the sun would hit my shift **** and it would be hot as ****. and now that its cold is horrible. but it still feels better than stock. screw that. i might just knit myself a shift **** cozy. no im not gay. i just don't want to use a sock.

I love my t1r titanium shift **** (though I don't think it's real titanium). blue on top, yellow-ish titanium on bottom

join the club i also got a skunk2 **** for my gs-r, i just use a little kids mittten to cover up the ****. girls say it looks cute, i say it looks like a jimmy hat but atleast i dont get frostbite every time i start up in the cold.

I have the same ****, in the summer I just shift very fast so I dont burn my hand/fingers, if not I just get a napkin from the glove box.... although driving gloves dont sound like a bad idea......

i have a b&m short throw in my truck and the whole shifter assembly is aluminum. i live in cali but sometimes in the mornings it gets pretty cold. but its not too bad here
