ive met alot of people with srt-4's and NOT one of them was at all a bad person, they were all great to hang around with and the exact opposite of what we all think they are. they didnt speak much of there car and knew its limits and new it was a neon just with different attitude. they also didnt say they could beat anything or that they could keep up with sti's stock.
the people your thinking of are everywhere they are the same idiot that buys a civic and thinks its fast, there will always be people who think what they have is the greatest because they have it and they dont know crap.
few weeks ago my friend in his cobra met a guy with a ferrari, asked if he wants to race. the ferrari guy was cocky and didnt know what he was talking about just like the type of srt-4 owner you describe, so he's like come on buddy this is a ferrari thats a mustang go away, finally they do race and the cobra absolutely ***** on the ferraris chest. (not literally lol) and the guy only replied with, mustangs suck, big deal.

i guess it matches the paint job on the exterior (red on top, black on the bottom)... oh, and i changed my mind... not so much a fan now... still looks decent (hence the quote above), but i couldn't drive it...
